She could rock climb long before she could swim or ride a bike. In fact, she only learnt to ride a bike the other day, but that has not kept her from conquering the world. Meet Jo Maharaj - the first South African and youngest Masters student to be admitted to the revered Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in Boston. She is also a proud RMB Class Of alumni.
With a Masters degree in Development Economics and International Finance from the oldest university in the US in hand, Jo returned to South Africa in 2009 to continue exploring her passion for financial and economic development.
Intrigued by RMB's culture and appreciation for originality, innovation and fluidity, Jo joined the bank's Class Of Programme in October 2011 to work on the derivative structuring desk. Jo has since rolled off the programme and taken up a role within the Specialised Distributions Solutions team at RMB.
