- All transactions require a team spirit and a diversity of skills – build strong relationships both internal and external
- Make sure you get the details right, but beware of over-engineering the process
- IQ may help you identify and frame the problem, but EQ will ultimately help you solve it
- Back your ideas and believe in your own products, and clients will too
- Celebrate small victories – these often lead to bigger things
- Inaction is the worst decision – don’t be afraid to try (and have a sense of urgency as great opportunities can disappear quickly)
