Coming in at third position is South Africa.
Over the past few years, we've highlighted the depth of the financial services sector in this country relative to other economies on the continent.
But the other thing that we tend to forget is that South Africa has a diversified manufacturing, and wholesale and retail trade base.
Notwithstanding what we've seen during the pandemic, is that it's managed to grow a lot of its export earnings given the diversity of minerals that it's been able to sell internationally.
Yes, the economy has been shrouded with a lot of issues over the past few years, both political and social.
But on this basis we do see that there are significant opportunities for investments ranging from everywhere in the manufacturing sector, agricultural sector and energy sector.
It is this diversity that allows South Africa to continue to contend within the top five investment destinations across the continent.
