The G20 is an international forum comprising some of the world's largest developing and developed economies to tackle pressing global economic and financial issues. With G20 members accounting for approximately 85% of the global Gross Domestic Product, 75% of international trade, and two-thirds of the world's population, it plays a critical role in influencing global policy making, co-ordinating and fostering global economic stability.
South Africa holds the G20 Presidency from 1 December 2024 to 30 November 2025. The G20 South Africa theme for 2025 is Solidarity and Equity through Sustainable Development.
Connecting global business with G20 leadership
The B20 acts as a bridge between the global business community and G20 leadership, offering practical perspectives on policy direction. It brings together top executives and industry experts to shape actionable recommendations on issues like digitalisation, sustainability, and inclusive growth. Through task forces and policy dialogues, the B20 ensures that business voices contribute to global decision-making.
Driving inclusive growth and sustainable development
RMB and FNB have come together to partner both of these forums. We are ready to collaborate with government and business leaders to strengthen global partnerships and shape and influence global economic policy discussions to drive inclusive growth and sustainable development.
