Every year artists, exhibitors, galleries, curators and art lovers from across Africa meet at the iconic Shepstone Gardens in Johannesburg for the RMB Latitudes Art Fair. Latitudes is one of the largest online marketplaces for art from Africa. The Fair creates a creates a unique platform to discover, develop, promote and enjoy art by connecting artists with galleries and art lovers in support of the creative economy.

RMB Latitudes Curatorlab provides new ways of developing and sustaining curatorial practice on the African continent. The programme offers both practical experience in the industry and the opportunity to hone conceptual curatorial skills with ten candidates from across the continent. Participants were able to plan and conceptualise their own exhibition which is hosted on Latitudes Online, work directly with the artists in their show, and also gain experience in the commercial aspect of the industry, earning commission on sales.

RMB Latitudes Collectors Circle, in partnership with RMB Private Bank, establishes a new community through dedicated communications, engagement and a series of curated events, geared towards arts education, arts investment and patronage. The community spotlights the art of investment and aims to attract new and established art collectors alike, in unique and exclusive settings that truly immerse one into the vibrant art community behind our thriving creative economy.
