BIOGRAPHY

Peter Brooke is a seasoned investment professional who has recently retired from Old Mutual Investment Group. He was at OMIG for twenty years, where he built the multi-asset class boutique. He also managed portfolios across the risk return spectrum, with a particular emphasis on the higher conviction funds like the Old Mutual Flexible and Maximum Return unit trusts. He won a Raging Bull for the best risk adjusted returns in the overall multi-asset category. During his tenure, Brooke was a regular commentator on the Money Show, created a weekly podcast and was frequently on Asset TV and other channels. This established him as a respected voice in South African investment circles.

In addition to his work at Old Mutual, Brooke followed his interest in business, people and strategy through coaching and investing in private businesses. This has included directorships and he is currently the chair of a food manufacturing business, reflecting a diverse professional background that extends beyond asset management.
