BIOGRAPHY

Prior to joining Alpine Macro, Bassam spent 6 years at PSP Investments a Montreal-based pension fund (USD243.7 billion AUM), where he played a key role in launching and managing a dynamic currency and asset allocation strategy. Previously, he had started his career at another large global macro research provider , where he spent 8 years serving in various roles, including senior FX strategist. He has a B.Comm, CFA.
