RMB WINS GLOBAL FINANCE MAGAZINE’S BEST TREASURY AND CASH MANAGEMENT BANK 2021 IN SA

The prestigious Global Finance magazine has recognised RMB in South Africa, as Best Treasury and Cash Management Bank for 2021 and Best Treasury and Cash Management Bank in Botswana and Namibia (FNB).

The award acknowledges treasury and cash management excellence in relation to competitive differentiation, profitability, market share and reach, customer service, competitive pricing and product innovation. Winners were credited for their smart management of cash and treasury systems which were essential against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lizelle Pienaar, RMB’s Head of Corporate Transactional Banking said: “We are honoured to have won this prestigious award, recognising our passion and commitment to orchestrate value for our clients. At RMB we pride ourselves in our client-centric approach to business and we constantly look for opportunities to add value to the communities in which we serve. This award bears testament to that vision.”

The award highlights RMB’s capability to deliver a value proposition that effectively guided our clients through the COVID-19 crisis with real-time insights and strategies that worked during a time of rapid and dramatic change.

Winners were chosen amongst 75 countries and territories, and regionally across seven categories including Africa, Asia-Pacific, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, North America and Western Europe.

“The achievements by our South African banking peers at the awards clearly demonstrates our ability to remain relevant in the global market and contribute to the stability and robustness of our country’s financial landscape,” concludes Pienaar.
