Education is the cornerstone of a strong economy. However, a record number of children around the globe, affected by COVID-19 lockdowns, are missing out on schooling. For South Africa, this is a challenge that needs to be addressed with some urgency.

Edvision

Edvision seeks to landscape activity as well as match goals, initiate conversation and kickstart collaboration between implementors and funders in the education community. Ultimately the aim is to advance education possibilities in South Africa.

This special release of Edvision, developed together with the National Association of Social Change Entities in Education (NASCEE), seeks to support the education sector’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Edvision aims to raise awareness of activities in progress and foster connections and collaborations so that the response is co-ordinated and well structured.
