Rand Merchant Bank succesfully completed a R7.6-billion fully marketed offering of Tsogo Sun shares on behalf of SABMiller. The offering was one of the biggest secondary placements in South Africa’s history, generating significant benefits for both SABMiller and Tsogo Sun and forms part of a comprehensive solution structured to realise SABMiller’s entire 39.6% shareholding in Tsogo Sun for R10.6-billion.
