Ten things I learnt while on the Class Of programme

• To be selected as a Class Of requires far more luck than skill
• RMB is full of really smart, but more importantly, down-to-earth and interesting people
• If you want to learn, ask. Everyone is willing to help but you have to take initiative
• Don't stuff up, people know (and talk)
• Have drinks at the pub every Friday. Why not? It's free and you get some of the best ideas just listening
• Never, ever discuss bonuses. You'll either make someone else unhappy or more likely you'll end up feeling relatively deprived
• Don't take yourself too serious – the RMB 'Queen' is watching
• Work very hard but pretend it is effortless
• If you want to stop having fun at work, become a manager
• Making money requires far more skill than luck
