Mark put in a captain's innings at Stellenbosch University, delved into the Structural Engineering field, and made the most of the drinks breaks. It was a fruitful season as he trounced the quantitative challenges of the degree, and then seized the opportunity to begin designing bridges and buildings. But as with all Class Ofs, ambition and a deep hunger for experience in the corporate world led him to complete his MBA as an enabler to the world of finance.

He joined RMB as a Class Of in 2010 and after perfecting his forward defense in Credit, he stepped into the dealing room to mingle with the big hitters in Exotic Interest Rate Derivatives. Mark rolled off the Programme in 2011 as dealmaker in Real Estate Investment Banking.
