Meet our Chief Economist
Our Chief Economist is Ettienne le Roux. Ettienne graduated with a B.Com, B.Com Honours and M.Com Economics from the North-West University (1991–1995). He obtained his degrees cum laude. After lecturing economics at the same university, he followed a career as an economist at the National Treasury. While employed by the Treasury Ettienne had the opportunity to further his studies in the US. He later joined FNB as an economist. In 1998 Ettienne joined RMB and in June 2009 was appointed as Chief Economist.
