"Making YOU Count" CA Experience
The Making YOU Count CA experience is a 3-day development and recruitment initiative. The programme is designed to help recently qualified Chartered Accountants to gain insight into the exciting world of investment banking and to explore possible career opportunities therein. Over 2-days candidates will, in particular, gain an insight into the specialised areas of Accounting, Credit Analysis and Transacting and on the 3rd day have the opportunity to interview for a role in one of these areas.
Interested candidates should present excellent academic records. A CA qualification is essential. Good communication skills, tenacity and a passion for world markets, and the economy are essential.
Please keep an eye on the website for application details / dates.
RMB Graduate Programme

Applications for the 2013 Graduate Programme will open 1st June 2012. Please visit this website then for further information.
"Class of" Programme
The programme is unique in that it targets candidates with at least three to four years’ working experience who don’t have a background in banking. In fact, the more unusual their qualifications and work experience, the better. Candidates must also be self-starters, smart, driven and have excelled in all aspects of their life. Common characteristics are top academics, a passion for finance and investment banking and a strong numbers acumen. We value previous sporting achievements, as well as an entrepreneurial flair.
The programme is unstructured and unsupervised, with recruits placed in a 'sink-or-swim' environment. Class of's rotate through RMB’s divisions for two to three years, switching as they choose and are responsible for their own career development. Recruitment happens year-round, and there is no formal start and end date.
If you are the summa cum laude student, who has travelled around the world, who sold lemonade to fund your studies, whilst winning the boat race in the pub, then you are that 1/10 000 individual who we want on the Class Of.

RMB Bursaries
RMB offers bursaries to Hons students in the Commerce, Business Science, Finance, Math, Quant, Accounting and IT / IS disciplines who have consistently excelled academically. Bursary requests should be submitted between September and November of each year, for the following year. All bursaries for 2012 have been finalised and allocated and no further applicants will be considered.
RMB Winter School
RMB does not offer work experience or work shadowing opportunities. We offer vacation work in the form of a Winter School which takes place in early July of each year. Winter School is for Hons & Masters Students with top academics in the Commerce, Business Science, Finance, Math, Quant, Accounting and IT / IS disciplines. During our Winter School, students will receive insight into the various Business Units at RMB and will leave well-informed of what we do. Our Winter School is a great opportunity for the business to spend time with the students, and forms a feeder for our Graduate Programme for the following year.
Only South African citizens will be considered for winter school.
Recruitment for our 2012 Winter School (which takes place from the 1st to the 6th July 2012) will begin 1st March. Please visit this site for further instruction.
